"Intensive study of vocal technique as applied to the
literature for active singers" |
Benvenuti!
It can be said that the "New World" was "discovered" by three Italians: Cristoforo Colombo, Amerigo Vespucci and Giovanni da Verrazzano. It was Verrazzano from Greve, who was the first European explorer to enter the
harbor where New York, the Center of the World and the symbol of the Modern
Age, was born.
Today, not far from New York's Verrazzano Bridge, we find the legendary Juilliard School, where generations of aspiring artists discover the keys to the amazing and difficult world of the performing arts. Every summer, one of its most prestigious teachers, Maestro Daniel Ferro, who selected our territory as the ideal place for his Master Classes in perfecting the art of singing, arrives in Greve. He is a very familiar presence here, and his program has been integrated into our landscape.
Similarly to the tie in which Giovanni da Verrazzano linked Italy to America, the Daniel Ferro Vocal Program represents a strong bond between our land and one of the most important cultural centers in the world. This connection is strengthened by the universal language of music, which enriches everyone's lives.
We wish this relationship to continue flourishing for many years to come.
